Burton Mill Solutions' trimmer saws are engineered for optimal accuracy, extended saw life, and reliable finishing quality. These saws are available with a wide selection of tooth geometries and carbide grades to meet the most demanding requirements in trim saw applications.

Features

  • High precision cutting for improved board finish
  • Multiple carbide grades available to suit mill conditions
  • V-tooth design available to double tooth count and reduce wear per tip
  • Accurate grinding and tight tolerances for consistent performance

Specifications

  • Thickness: 0.090" to .250"
  • Thickness Tolerance: +0.000" / -0.001"
  • Diameter: 5" to 36"
  • Pitch: 0.375" minimum
  • Hardness: Trimmer standard 42Rc but can make up to 48 Rc
  • ATB Angle: 15° to 25°

Options

  • V-Tooth: Doubles tooth count to improve finish, reducing cutting stress on each tip and allows sharpening without diameter loss
  • Carbide Tip: Accurate tip geometry for smooth cuts and enhanced precision for dimensional tolerances
  • BGR Plate: Hardened with proprietary Viking salt bath process for consistent hardness, stability, and precision
  • Cougar Plate: High-performance plate with tight tolerances and uniform grain structure
