The VK-1 is the first purpose-built sharpener designed to maintain the next generation of Sawmill Saw Tips - V-Top.

V-Top Trims are recognized as a superior tool for cutting across thin grain, trimming both green and dry boards to length. The resulting boards are virtually free of splintering or tear-out, and energy consumption is reduced.

The VK-1 enables mills to efficiently sharpen V-Top Trim Saw blades and explore the benefits of V-Top blades for circular gangs. It maintains the flat top geometry at the outside corners while providing engineered vee relief for enhanced cutting performance.

Engineered for easy startup and changeover, the VK-1 features an intuitive graphical user interface and supports up to 9 different sharpening programs per saw blade in onboard memory.
